Todays workout is a military standard running test. Very simply, you are going to run 1.5 miles at a steady pace followed by 1.5 miles as fast as you can.
The most straight forward way to do this is run out from a start point for 1.5 miles and then, after you’ve had a rest, run back as fast as you can. Treat the run out as your warm up and the return as a race! Boots and backpack are optional.
