Today’s workout is a complexthat can be performed using a barbell, dumbbells or kettlebells.
Perform the following exercises in sequence without putting the weights down. Use a weight that is challenging but not too heavy as you’ll be doing a lot of reps!
- Dead Lift (from the floor to upright only)
- Stiff Legged Dead Lift
- Hang Clean
- Front Squat
- Push Press (place the bar back on the floor on completion)
Method
You are going to perform 5 sets of this complex but each set is going to be more challenging than the last.
Set One – One rep of each exercise
Set Two – Two reps of each exercise (2 dead lifts, 2 stiff legged dead lifts, 2 hang cleans etc)
Set Three – Three reps of each exercise
Set Four – Four reps of each exercise
Set Five – Five reps of each exercises
Rest 60 seconds between sets
Complete all the reps for each exercise in turn before moving on to the next exercise in the sequence.
If you want an even greater challenge, work your way back down from 5 – 1 reps.

A good complex but for newbies it may be worth adding descriptions and or pictures of each exercise to make it even easier to follow..??
